The rumor

Leica Rumors now says the next M will be called the M12 rather than an M11-R. It's expected in early 2027 and reportedly already in production. It would keep the M11's 60MP sensor and processor, not the Gpixel sensor rumored earlier, and add a larger rear screen, with the buttons moved to the right side like the SL3-P and Q3.
